The 2018 Upper School Exhibition Opening Reception took place on March 14 from 17:00 – 19:00. The exhibition featured two exhibitions: the MYP 5 Personal Project Exhibition and the DP 2 Exit Exhibition. The opening reception drew an audience of family members, teachers and other spectators who came to celebrate the creative and innovative accomplishments of our students.
The MYP 5 personal project is a challenging, self-directed project which takes place over a period of six months and involves research, planning, taking action to create a product or outcome and finally reflection. At the exhibition, visitors could learn more about each personal project and look at the products as well as evidence of the students’ work process.
The DP 2 Exit Exhibition is the culmination of the Diploma Programme Visual Arts course and showcases the achievements and artistic journey of our Visual Arts students over the duration of the two-year course. Each student exhibited a selection of their best work together with a written rationale articulating their purpose and intention.
